Disability Sensitivity Training Trinidad

It was a new and unique disability sensitivity training for us at Leonard Cheshire Disability Philippines Foundation Inc. as we conducted our first online disability sensitivity training for our partners in Trinidad, Bohol.

We are proud of the officers of the Trinidad Association of Differently Abled Persons (TAODAP) and staff of the Persons with Disabilities Affairs Office (PDAO) for completing the training. This activity is in preparation for TAODAP’s role as disability advocates under the Voice LCDPFI project.

It was challenging bringing the training online but with the efforts of the team and Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) and PDAO of Trinidad, we were able to make this possible!

The training was approved by Mayor Judith Cajes provided that social distancing and wearing of protective gears are practiced. The ten (10) participants duly complied by wearing face shields and masks, applying social distancing and disinfecting regularly during the training.
